Design a typeface, based on a classical font, out of non-traditional materials. The
goal is to create a type family with recognizable characteristics.

I completed this challenge by re-envisioning the typeface Mrs Eaves by Emigre. The original font was created in a revival of traditional serif typefaces during the mid 1990's. I am choosing to break that idea of traditional serif by using jagged edges to compliment the curves of the material as well as the curve in the serif itself. The material I chose was shattered compact discs and vinyl records; an homage to the old and reinvention into new.
