Introduction to Motion, Spring 2023
Utilizing hand made elements in conjunction with after effects I was able to put together a 20 second reading of a fortune. By Incorporating what I already know about design, I created a graphic that included manipulations of contrast, weight, rhythm, pacing, color, and time. Each manipulation blends seamlessly into the next with the use of luma mattes and clever transparency changes on both the subjects and the background video. The background consists of a blend of five moving stocks of video that go in and out of one another, creating an interesting movement from corner to corner.
